Another important cause we would like to support is Pitbull awareness month. Pitbulls are sadly very misjudged and are not given fur-ever homes because of the reputation they were given. We came across this beautiful photography series of rescue dogs named, Not A Bully, in which photographer Douglas Sonders showcases 'bully breeds' and shares beautiful photographs and stories of bully breed pups. Did you know that 22% of shelters euthanize Pit Bulls and a staggering 40% of shelter dogs are 'Bully Breeds' :( Please help create awareness.
