We are Bark4Green, a business Made in America by a creative team of eco-conscious people & pets who share ideas and passions to make quality products for people, our planet, and of course, our pets!
Our story begins with concerns about our dogs nutrition and the negative effects some products can have on their health and our environment. We baked gourmet treats for our pups using only all-natural, human-grade ingredients that were sourced locally. Once we started receiving orders from co-workers, friends and family, we knew we were on to something! So, we made our treats available to locals at farmers markets across South Florida and made new friends and happy customers. Our friends, family and customers inspired us to make our treats an even better product. Considering we take our dogs almost everywhere with us and never leave home without treats, we added the 'on the go' concept to our gourmet biscuits and eco-functional lifestyle to make 'On-The-Go' Dog Treats®. Now it's 2013 and we're excited to continue expanding the distribution of our gourmet treats and the Bark4Green brand by launching new products.
We believe that using sustainable materials and recycling are effective ways to help protect the planet, minimize waste and conserve our resources. We make consumerism a positive experience by choosing the right ingredients and materials while offering functionality and engaging eco-conscious consumers. Depending on the size of an order, we prefer to use carbon neutral shipping solutions to limit the offsets caused by our distribution. Our materials are sourced locally whenever possible. We aim to create healthy, functional and sustainable products that our two and four legged customers will love. We believe we can support a healthier planet by maintaining a high standard of environmentally responsible practices in all aspects of our business.
We believe in team work and work with organizations who’s people share our love for animals, environmentalism and values of integrity. It's important to recognize how much, and, in what ways we can assist each other through sharing ideas and knowledge. We commit to the Earth and to future generations by creating products that have minimal effects on our planet and can even help offset some of the damage already done. We also believe that knowledge and education builds tomorrow and hope that Bark4Green can help inspire new ideas and build awareness about the importance of healthy people, planet and pets.
We support charities and non-profits by giving back to organizations who help make the World a better place. Promoting pet rescues and adoption is important to us so we match every 'On the Go' Dog Treats® purchase by donating the same amount of treats to rescue shelters who use them to train and reward their dogs. Learning some new tricks and basic obedience training goes a long way in helping shelter dogs get adopted to forever homes. And, with new products on the horizon, we're excited to discover more opportunities where we can help make a difference.
