Our story begins with concerns we had about our dogs nutrition after we learned he had allergies to treats and food that contained wheat, corn or soy ingredients. We started to bake gourmet treats for our pups using only all-natural, human-grade ingredients that we picked up at our local grocery store. When we started receiving orders from co-workers, friends and family, we knew we were on to something! We started selling our treats at local farmers markets across South Florida and made new friends and more happy customers. The feedback we received inspired us to make our treats even better. We combined our 'on the go' lifestyle, love for eco-functional products and our delicious gourmet pizza biscuits to make Bark4Green 'On-The-Go' Dog Treats®.
Ultimately, our goal is to be a leader in sustainable pet solutions. We believe that using sustainable materials and recycling are effective ways to help protect our planet, minimize waste and conserve natural resources. We make consumerism a positive experience by choosing the right ingredients and materials while offering functionality and a way to 'give back' for eco-conscious, pet-loving customers. Our materials are always sourced locally and we only use carbon neutral shipping solutions for large orders to limit the offsets caused by our distribution. Maintaining a high standard of green initiatives supports a healthier environment and we commit to creating healthy, functional and sustainable products that our two and four legged customers will love.
We believe in team work and partner with organizations who’s people share our love for animals, environmentalism and values of integrity. We support charities and non-profits by giving back to organizations who help make the World a better place. Promoting pet rescues and adoption is important to us so we match every Bark4Green 'On the Go' Dog Treats® bag purchased and donate the same amount to rescue shelters who use them to train, reward and fundraise. Learning new tricks and basic obedience training can help rescue dogs get adopted to forever homes.
