Ever have one of those days, where it seems like the whole world is against you and you desperately just want a friendly face to give you some compassion? Well, if you are a dog owner, then you know what its like to have had a bad day until you get home and a four-legged, furry-tailed companion comes trotting down the hall as you turn your house key to open the door. Finally, your bad day is forgotten and all you have in front of you are licks and a happy pup thats been waiting for you to come home. We picked this Youtube video because we loved the meaning behind it. 'The Mayhew Animal Home is one of the most effective animal welfare organizations in London, reaching thousands of dogs and cats to escape a life of abandonment, neglect and cruelty each year.' We applaud this wonderful organization for helping pets find good homes and helping create awareness of pet adoption and showcasing how loving abandoned pets are and how much love they give in return for simply adopting them.

Everyone likes a good head scratch, including this adorable husky. At first he gives you these googly eyes, " What the heck is that thing and why is it so close to me?" But as soon as his owner starts massaging the top of his head, it's clear to say he is one happy, smiling pup! We should try this with our pups, or maybe not, they are already spoiled rotten, if we had to add head massages to our daily schedules we'd be in over our human heads!

We sure love our 'On The Go' Dogs, whether they are going on a walk, hike, or any outing, we love to see dogs 'On The Go'! We all know how much our pups- well with the exception of a few that think every time they get in the car they have a fear that they may be heading to the vets, or worse car sick! Well, for the most part most dogs get excited the minute they realize they are going for a car ride, they just love to stick their heads out the window and feel that breeze on their furry little faces. Photographer, Lara Jo Regan takes some amazing shots of her canine models as their ears are flapping in the wind. Regan's series "Dogs in Cars" captures the pure joy on a dogs face as they tag along for a simple car ride! These beautiful photographs are in Regan's 2014 calendar, as well as a book she is set to release in the spring. (We can't wait!)

Winter storm Hercules is the first major winter storm of 2014 and has given the Midwest and Northeast a major snowfall. When you hear snow you can't help but think of hot cocoa and a warm fireplace, but sadly thats not always the case, and you experience that bitter cold air whip across our face and have to deal with icy street conditions making commuting a mess. Meet Beau the adorable 23-month old toddler and his pal Theo the 8-week old puppy. Beau's mom, Jessica Shyba recently wrote on her blog, Momma's Gone City about their new addition to the family. Theo was rescued from the Santa Cruz SPCA. Jessica has been sharing the cuteness that is Theo+Beau through her social Media accounts. When Beau goes down for his nap, Jessica brings Theo in and Theo somehow finds his comfy spot on or near Beau, and this just melts our hearts, the bond that a little boy and a puppy can have at such a young age. As if we needed any more reasons to love puppies!
